B. Pharmacy

Bachelor of Pharmacy or B.Pharm is a 4-year UG degree program designed for students interested in the study of manufacturing medicines. This degree program also helps aspiring students understand the process of dispensing medicines across various distributors and medical stores.

People who want to make their career in the pharmacy sector can opt for B Pharm program after completing their 12th (PCM& PCB) with 50% aggregate marks. The syllabus typically helps students gain appropriate knowledge about biochemical science and how it affects the entire healthcare business.

The admission in B.Pharmacy is done through various entrance exams such as GPAT, MHT-CET, etc. and also on the basis of Merit.

B.Pharmacy degree has a lot of scope in the future for the students as after course completion they are offered different job roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Some of the common job profiles that B.Pharm graduates can choose are that of a Medical Writer, Drug Inspector, Medical Sales Representative, and so on.

Course Details

Eligibility Criteria

For admission to first year of degree course in Pharmacy : Admission to first year of degree will be as per the Rules and regulations laid down by the DTE Mumbai time to time.

For admission to Direct Second year of degree courses in Pharmacy : The Candidate must be an Indian national and should have passed Post-SSC or Post HSC Diploma Course in Pharmacy with at least 50.00% marks (45.00% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) from an AICTE approved institution with English as the medium of instruction at Diploma level.

Admission of candidates shall be subject to the approval of concerned authorities.

Examination

Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded conduct the semester examinations and the institute conducts Sessional examinations and regular internal assessments throughout the year & conveyed to the parents.

Fees

The fees will be charged as per government rules and regulations framed from time to time. Furthermore, candidate shall be required to pay fees as prescribed by the SRTMU Nanded.

Refund of Fees

No refund of fees will be made once the admission is taken from Management Quota.
